It so happen that more delays and more filibustering among anti-immigration sponsored Congressmen are giving HR 5924 and HR 5882 a run on its last leg. The House will have their election recess on the 26th. Therefore, it is impossible to pass further immigration bills especially these two helpful bills that will accelerate the flow of legal immigrants who will bring along their money money to resuscitate the US economy.

They will not touch the whole subject and never will until a new President will be sworn in by 2009.
