As the USCIS and DOS explained that the whole Visa Dates will really retrogressed due to high demand of Visa numbers from with in their realm. This is suppose to be natural flow of the dates in order to lessen the demand for this fiscal year. Philippines, India, and China had a greater number of applicants compared to the rest of the world.
Now, the whole news isn’t well receive by people. Majority of the people says it is disgusting because they thought that an increase on Visa Bill Fees will pave the way to faster and efficient system.

Don’t be sad everyone. You know, I am so sure that everyone has their second plan but cannot go on with it because a liitle hope of vb is with them.
Maybe it’s a fate that this vb went back so you can continue without hesitation to your plan B.
I am also a little sad with the way VB got stranded on May 2005 for the past december to march of this year and so I ask for guidance. If ever I am meant to try other countries, there could be a sign because if vb would advance for 2-4 months, that would hold me back even though on my deepest skin layer, it won’t reach my PD.
We all had that “American dream”. We had it for once, twice, trice and never had let it go. IF it’s really it, then hold on it but for the mean time, just try to catch the atmosphere of those other countries that have the same environment, salary, opprotunity, or even language as America. WE are nurses and we are suppose to use our skills and diploma. Right?
WHo knows? After our experinces on other countries, America will open again and we may become a better nurse to US when we get there?;)
cheers!
i agree with you mixx…………….i have a pdate of april 2006 and i think with what happened on the april 2009 VB, its a sign to pursue option B… of course everybody wants to go to the u.s but we cant do about it……………..its the u.s government that decides…its quite frustrating that priority date retrogress futher from 2005 downed to 2003………………………. but ive got sleepless nights to tell you frankly thinking about that april 2009 disaster VB…………
it’s depressing harry but as for me, i felt quite relief that somehow this became a go-signal for me to try that neighbor country to america. I mean i was thinking about it before for 5 months now but the hope for vb moving forward keeps holding me back. even if it’s a only a 2mos move or even 6 mos and no matter how hard our “good buddy” here pray, it really won’t reach me. but, that still keeps holding me back. so i guess this is it… a go sign for those with plan B to try it.
come on! before we reach our 30’s let’s do it. it’s also an adventure.
hey guys and gals.
i got here in the US in less than 6 months. after passing nclex but im on working visa (H1b). i got here last january 2009.
have a talk w/ ur employers if they can change ur applications.
im not an immigrant and i can stay here for 3years only. but isn’t it good to wait for your immigration papers here in the US instead?
there’s hope.
have faith.
pray.
my agency told me its very hard and complicated to file for H1B if you have pending EB3.my pdate april 21, 2006. they say nurse applicant mihght be questioned during consulate interview. i agree with you that is better to have H1B rather than waiting here in philippines waiting for nothing because of that retro.
i
im not sure if my agency is telling the truth or they have no longer enough money to file H1B for us hehehe……………..
i am not sure about the technicalities of H1b and how much it costs. but maybe if you guys have the chance to file this instead, go for it. just talk to your employers if they can switch it. if the chances are low, then stick on what you have. its better to wait than lose everything u’ve worked hard for. to those who haven’t filed anything yet or not on any agency, i suggest look for an agency that is based here in the US. it’s way much better. you will be considered as direct hire to the hospital. its really hard to look for one. but its worth it. for H1b, you must have special skills or administrative experience for you to qualify. basta, like i’ve said, there’s hope. just do you part. work hard.
